Garden Juxtaposition

I counted how many plants I've purchased in the last year to fill my backyard space and it totaled to about 30! Yet there is still so much cement. Some of the main foliage types like gardenias and camellias are such slow growers. I need instant results.

  2. I know the feeling! But in a few years they will be bigger. Potted trees are a good way to get instant results and sometimes go on sale--orange or lemon are pretty easy to grow as long as you give them some tlc. I can't believe how big mine got --my little xmas tree I planted is 6 fee now! Fig trees grow big in a few years too (but I don't know if you can pot it). Ficus will grow in a pot too--altho I always kill them--you'd probably be able to make it grow and they get big and very green.
