Potted

Small garden update: I'm in the process of transplanting a handful of plants that I initially planted in a strip of dirt that only has sun in the summers, but is completely shaded over in the winter. Huge problem. I wish I had realized that earlier, but now that a year has gone by, I know the sun/shade patterns. Now I have a bevy of pots to work with that can be moved and wheeled around following the sun.

  1. your little plants are so big! we've done some potted herbs, but they're not nearly as happy as yours looks.

  2. wheeling around to follow the sun: brilliant!
I just repotted the two agaves because they are growing and sprouting babies too. That last patio you posted was amazing.

  4. So smart you can move your plants around now. Mine get so ragged in the winter--it's pouring rain right now and at least I don't have to do hand-watering today--yay!

  5. They're doing so well! It's brilliant you solved your shade problem by wheeling them around. Seasons can create some funny challenges sometimes. Have you been using any of the herbs in your cooking?

brandi - the thyme is the first herb in the garden! so, i haven't used fresh, home grown herbs before ( i don't cook that much or really at all lol), but maybe i will be inspired too now!
